大家好！由我们WVU以及马里兰大学等华盛顿地区高校CSSA共同策划、组织的一场名为“中国之夜”的国庆音乐会将于9月27日晚，在马里兰大学College Park分校著名的Dekelboum Concert Hall隆重上演， Dekelboum Concert Hall位于著名的Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center中.

这次音乐会旨在弘扬中华文化，展现新一代留学生风采，共同欢庆伟大祖国的60华诞。超过150名演职员及现场志愿者将为观众们奉献一场大气，优美，热烈而又富于青春气息的晚会。

目前，经过多方努力，音乐会门票免费，但需要预订。此外，为配合活动的进行，音乐会组委会还特地设计和印制了精美的主题文化衫；晚会现场将限量发售，每件定价$12。

正式演出将于27日晚6：00开场。下午5：00 Dekelboum Concert Hall 将开放，所有预订成功的朋友请于5：45之前check-in，现场工作人员在核对预订信息无误后，将发给您入场手链一条作为入场券。从5：45开始我们将允许waitlist上的朋友check-in。直至我们手上的900个手链全部发完为止。所以请一定不要迟到，否则您有可能失去进场的机会。

Greetings! We at WVU, through our contact with the University of Maryland and schools of the Greater Washington D.C. area, we will be jointly organizing a music festival for the National Anniversary celebration named “中国之夜”. The festival will be held on September 27th in the well-known Dekelboum Concert Hall, at the College Park campus of University of Maryland. The concert hall is within the well-known Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. For directions and parking information please view this link: http://claricesmithcenter.umd.edu/2009/c/about/directions The goals of this concert is to promote Chinese culture, to showcase the expressions of the new generation of international students studying abroad here in the U.S., and to celebrate together the 60th anniversary of the founding of the PRC. With over 150 performers and volunteers, we hope to bring to the audience an atmosphere of grandeur, elegance, and youthful energy on this night. Thus, it is the greatest wish of the entirety of the organizers and participants of this event for you to personally come to watch our performance, and for you to share this unforgettable memory with us.
Through our many efforts, this event’s admission is free to the public. However, we will require reservations to be made ahead of time. Also, the organizers have specially designed a T-shirt to match the evening’s cultural theme; a limited amount will be available for purchase at the evening event, with the price set at $12 each.
Members of the WVU CSSA, who are interested in attending or purchasing T-shirts, please send an email with your name, contact method, and with definite certainty that you will be attending to xiaoshuang_sasa@hotmail.com The deadline will be until September 25th, 5pm.
The formal start of the event will be at 6:00pm in the evening. The Dekelboum Concert Hall will be open at 5:00pm; we ask that all attendants who have successfully made reservations check-in before 5:45pm. After verifying your information, you will be given a bracelet to represent your admission. From 5:45pm onward, we will allow our friends on the waitlist to begin checking in, until all 900 bracelets for the evening have been given out. So we advise that all attendants arrive on time, or you will risk losing the opportunity to attend.
